Tip of Borneo

Five years ago on the August 25th, 2004 we made a short trip to Kudat just to visit the famous Tip of Borneo at Tanjung Simpang Mengayau as well as golfing...that would be my hubby event of course hehe. We checked in at Kudat Marina and Golf Resort for two days 1 night and choose the Superior Golf View room which is facing the ocean, the view were fabulous...blue ocean...breezy air...all the right ingredient for peaceful and serenity...the reflection of God's beauty.

All the pictures here taken with my very first digital camera I owned and two months after I had it ....can still remember the excitement of taking these pictures hahaha, Canon Digital Ixus 430(hope its still in good condition...in whoevers hand it is now LOL). I do really love that camera and there are times I wish I still have it....sighhhhh...then again we have so much fun taking pictures and the pictures are still around...so...it's ok hehehe

The jetty and ocean view taken from our room at around 3pm

After settling in we set off to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau to where the Tip of Borneo is....

Junior, my nephew posing beside a globe shape monument to mark the tip of Borneo and it's overwhelming being on the top...with the strong wind blowing as if it can easily lift you off your feet and the view of a vast ocean below...

Yesss...I'm here! Yup! That what I was telling myself LOL...as I was proudly stands with the greatest blue ocean at my back and waves hitting the rocky outcrop that formed the tip of Borneo...my beautiful island of Borneo hehehe

Overlook the blue ocean around Tg. Simpang Mengayau, taken from the tip

A wider view of the vast blue ocean from the pave walk to the tip of Borneo...and of course with me posing there hahaha

Capturing the moment with my hubby on the tip of Borneo hehehe (feeling a bit eerie as I look down below LOL)

After we're done with our strolling around tip of Borneo we took our leave and on the way home we stopped by the Tg. Simpang Mengayau beach for a few minutes just enough to enjoy the view and appreciating God given beauty.

Sunset view of Tg. Simpang Mengayau beach...

Morning at jetty while Kudat Marina and Golf Resort jetty seen on the right side of this picture...well at least part of it hehehe

Click..Click..Snap...Snap

Want to share with you all pictures that I've taken...capture long before my blogging era hehehe...I just love to take pictures though I never get to be an expert(hopefully one day I will...wishful thinking:P ). There were times I'm disappointed when it doesn't turn out the way I expect it to be but that never stops me from clicking my camera hahaha...the consolation from all of the disappointment is that...I took a picture of it and the memories behind it.

Took this pictures with my BenQ C745 given by my hubby, just a simple camera but blessed to own it and thank God that 'I still have it'...hmm...frankly this is my 3rd digicam LOL...Where are the two? Well...it has become a history...broken?...naaaahhh...stolen! (blessed be upon the thief hehehe).

Ok...sharing time...

Picture of Sutera Harbor Marina on a cloudy day around 4 something...actually anytime it the sky would burst to cry hehehe(rain lah!...). Taken during our weekend getaway to last year....well...it hasn't been that long;). Proud of this picture...Why?...It turned out to be the way I wanted it hahaha

This following pictures were taken few minutes after the rain stopped. Frankly, I was hoping to catch a sunset on a normal weather(for it's not often I can escape from my life routine to stroll at Sutera's beach LOL) but I guess it was impossible for we've been experiencing a wet season as well as unpredictable weather...come to think of it we went through such weather throughout the year 2008.
